Hernando Marin (Nando), a native of La Tebaida, Quindio, Colombia, South America began his career in the profession he loves, photography, at a very young age.  His first professional work appeared in a historical book on his hometown with pictures of the local people and the surrounding area.


While in Colombia, Nando attended courses in his chosen field at the INPAHU Institute in Bogota that included credits for photography, movies, television, writing and literature.

Nando provided the University of Quindio with unique pictures of the flora and fauna of the jungle located on Montana Del Ocaso (Montenegro, Quindio).


Upon moving to the United States, he completed and received a diploma for courses in photography with the New York Institute of Photography.


Nando contracted with several studios taking olde-time pictures (clothing from the 30’s and 40’s along with the necessary props) and pictures for ROTC, Band and Chorus members throughout the southeast quadrant.  Many of his landscape pictures were taken while travelling for these studios.


Nando’s career (both in Colombia and the United States) has covered many weddings, birthday parties, animals (especially birds), nature (flowers, etc.), people of all ages and includes a love of working clock pictures.
